Dear Bee,
That is all =]
Tuesday, 29 September 2009
Today = Win
Instead, Bee come over to Hatfield, which meant openly spazzing about Norwich and the day having many random laughs thrown in.
So instead of writing loads of stuff no one will find funny, i will just say that today was the most fun i've had in a while.
Also, yay for Bee FINALLY meeting her hero, 'hoover guy'. This is a guy that i know from work, who tends to wind me up at every oppurtunity. Today, he saw me paying at the checkouts so decided it would be a good idea to throw plastic witch fingers into my basket, trying to get me to buy them.
Tomorrow <3
TOMORROW!!
I'm travelling to Norwich with Bee and her mum to see All Time Low XD
So yeah, mebbe a spazzed out blog post tomorrow, none on Thursday and one that probably no one but Bee will find funny on Friday...Isn't that how it usually goes?
Anyway, on another note, i realised that i'm actually doing quite well at keeping this blog updated...Not really sure why. Maybe because i check it daily anyway to see if my friends have posted new blogs, so i tend to post as well...
(Also, if anyone that reads this follows me on Twitter [@BITlikeGASKANK] I apologise for the amount of updates over the next few days)

This photo...

Just shows me why i love this man so much. I miss them =[
(Bonus points to anyone who knows who it is, though it really isn't that difficult)
(If you want a clue, look at the drumkit behind him)

Is this a good reason to freak out?
So, i log in to Tumblr today, and the first thing i see is something posted by the group i follow called fuckyeahjackbarakat This is what they posted:
That is one of my photos from the Scala, the last time i saw All Time Low in August last year.
I'm not annoyed in any way, they credited me, and my Myspace is printed across that photo.
No, the reason i'm blogging about this is because i find it weird that people are finding my live photos and not only liking them, posting them on another site, where more people would see it.
I should possibly be flattered. Last July/August, one of my crappy phone photos of Laurence Rene from My Passion was used as his default and, as far as i know, is still on his Myspace somewhere.
My parents heard about this latest thing and are now encouraging me to go and take a class on Photography. This has happened many times before, and as usual, i reply with the fact that i enjoy taking photos. I don't want it to turn into something i hate.
So yeah, i'm kind of rambling now aren't i?
Sorry
I just find it kinda unreal that people like the photos i usually think are crap, or upload 'for the lols'
(Can i just add, i love that one Tumblr it was posted it on captioned it as 'Look, there’s Jack!' XD )

What's in my bag..
As promised, i am taking a 'What's in my bag' photo after a day out in London.
This is what is in my bag right now.

Lost In Stereo
Six Feet Under The Stars
Jasey Rae
Poppin' Champagne
Stella
Break Your Little Heart
Remembering Sunday
Coffee Shop Soundtrack
Party scene (Or Break Out! Break Out!)

Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't)
Dear Maria, Count Me In
You do not know how happy this setlist makes me!
I personally think it's a nice mix of new and old, considering in the UK, Nothing Personal has only been out a week or two, which means i thought they would only play two or three new songs.
Now technically 5 days until i see them XD

So, of course i'm actually spazzing, as this time in a week, i shall be sat outside The Waterfront in Norwich, with Bee, on our 7th hour of queueing, waiting for All Time Low.
Though, even though i'm trying not to be too hyper, i also realise that in two weeks, the thing i've been looking forward to for the past two months will be over...
I guess that instead of being pessimistic, i should be happy at the fact that this time in two weeks, i will be beyond happy and probably even closer to one of my best friends.
Also, the photo at the top was taken the last time i saw ATL. It still remains one of my favourite ever live photos that i've taken.

I've decided...
Well two.
One this Saturday, after i've been to London with Bee, to show what is usually in my bag.
Then another the day after i see All Time Low in London, just to see what shit i will have collected in the week, due to the fact that i never clear out my bag, so there will probably be a load of random stuff.
This may be interesting...

TWOA
Most of the planning is almost done. Me and Bee are going to London on Saturday to buy some the last few things we need and finish planning some stuff. We officially know what time we are heading to the venue next Thursday in Norwich (Sunrise *cries*). We know what time we are catching the train to head to Thames Street week Saturday. No doubt in the next few days, we will be sorting out the time to head to London for the final ATL gig as well.
Regardless it is now (technically, it's after midnight) a week away, i still cannot believe this is happening.
Ok, so the Kingston and London show, yeah, i can believe that.
The fact my parents are letting me to Norwich for two nights to see All Time Low? Yeah, that still shocks me.
Work is really going to be painful on the Friday. No doubt that whole week will be hell. There will be little/no sleep, so caffeine will be my new best friend.
Anyway, i'm rambling now, so i shall be leaving it here.

Meet me on Thames Street
Though I'm hardly worth your time
In the cold, you look so fierce
But I'm warming up
Because the tension's like a fire
So yeah, we randomly found out earlier that the All Time Low instore isn't taking place in the actual store.
It's instead taking place in a venue called McCluskys, that is just off Thames Street.
Photos with that sign WILL be taken!
Just to look more like ATL fangirls than we already are XD
10 more days till the start of TWOA

Yay!

So Halloween is very soon.
Ok, not that soon, but it's close.
I love it. At work, we have started getting in childrens Halloween costumes. I honestly can't wait until everything starts coming in. It's my favourite holiday. I love that for one day a year, you can pretend to be someone or something else, without looking like a lunatic.
This year, i thankfully don't have to work on Halloween. I am instead going to the local youth centre thing, seeing some bands live...Should be interesting.
(Also, there is not really a reason as to why it's Mickey Mouse at the beginning of this, all i shall say is 12 more days!)

Seriously, go listen to this EP.
Ok so most of you have probably heard of Craig Owens, he is the singer of Chiodos. But, in my opinion, his solo stuff is better, i actually love it so much. So, download it and listen to it!
(And it's available on the download site we all use, so there is no excuse not to)

It's too much to bear my darling, the weight of the world, i would carry it for you, but please don't ask me to because the, weight of the world is a burden i can't bear.
Ahh, i can't help but picture Gustav singing that to me now...
I love that song...I remember listening to it on their EP for the first time, and actually falling in love with the lyrics...
Yeah, random post...Oh and the photo = My fave photo from the Underworld XD
And on the last note, just one big I TOLD YOU SO! to anyone that went with me to see Young Guns, didn't think they would be good live and now have changed their minds Bee, i'm looking at you here.
And if anyone can tell me how to change the layout of this thing so people in my photos don't have to be turned into stick figures to fit on the page, i'd be greatful =]

Young Guns <3
So tonight, i saw Young Guns and Casino Brawl.
It started with about 6 of us sat outside the Underworld. We got interviewed by a member of Deaf Havana for Metal Hammer magazine. We spoke to him about little towns, and he told us the disadvantage of being in a band. Fun times.
Inside, it was a bit busier. The first band were kinda shit, they didn't really have a good stage presence. If your bassist has to disappear for a few minutes, the singer should stand there and try and amuse the crowd, not piss of as well in my opinion.
Casino Brawl were actually REALLY good! Someone i know had told me about them ages ago, but i had never really listened to them. That is changing now. The singer made me laugh, especially with Bee and the water...
Young Guns were actually amazing. They had to cut their set short due to problems while setting up. Gustav had the thing about stroking my face again, then decided to hold my hand for a line or two of Weight Of The World (Which is my favourite Young Guns song).
But yeah, i'm leaving it there. Might upload some photos tomorrow...Maybe...
Bed time now though, work tomorrow morning ¬_¬
As well as Vi, for the first time in over a week, which is now actually quite a long time really...
And Kelly and Bee as well, of course.
Hopefully i will end up with more photos from today than i did from Saturday. Actually quite disappointed at the lack of photos considering who i was with and who i was seeing live...
And someone help fill up my calendar after today? Regardless i'm only going to have £20 to live off of for the next week and a half...Whoops.

Fight Club is one of my favourite films, and Brad Pitt and Edward Norton's acting just makes it that much more memorable.
The quote at the beginning of this post was spoken by Brad Pitt, who plays Tyler Durden.
I honestly believe everyone should either see this film or, even better, read the book by the genius that is Chuck Palahniuk.
I've only seen this film around five times, yet i could quote almost half of it. You hear the unnamed main character and Tyler Durden discussing things like sex, money and jobs. You listen to it, and you realise how true the words are.
Yeah, i'm leaving it there for now. Don't ask me what made me post this, i honestly don't know...Maybe it's my subconcious telling me i need to watch/read this again.
3 more weeks!

So..
Anyway, i'm tired and in pain. My voice is almost completely gone.
And on one last side note: I MET YOUNG GUNS!!!
If you talk to me often enough, you would know that i have loved them since i saw them at the beginning of June and yesterday was the first chance i got to meet them. Gustav's hair made literally lol, but they're all so nice and cute, i can't wait to see them live again.
I also apologise for any over-excited posts leading up to the weekend, because i found out that as well as seeing Jump The Lights on Saturday, i get to see Kate Is The Decoy as well!!! Happy times!!

Woah, i'm gonna die!
Go to Norwich
See All Time Low
Come home from Norwich
Go to work
See All Time Low
Go to work
See All Time Low
Recover
Go to work
Go to work
Go to work
See The King Blues
To be quite honest, even though that will kill me, i can't wait!
I get to see one of my favourite, non-local, bands three times in the space of five days!
And all three times, i get to see them with one of my best friends, joined by many others on the final date XD
Someone please just let me fast forward the rest of this month...After the 14th anyway.
And as an added note, i shouldn't be awake right now! Have to be up at 6:45am to get the train to london at 7:53am to go to the Blackout video shoot...
Many energy drinks shall be drunk!

I can't wait for the next two weekends
Why you ask?
My favourite Welsh band, The Blackout, are filming a video for their song 'This is why we can't have nice things' and, instead of sticking to our normal plans of going to the cinema, me and my lovely friends figured we would instead go and be a part of the video!
6 hours of standing in a crowd, watching a 'gig', with some of my best friends. Couldn't ask for more to be quite honest.
Then after the video shoot has finished, we are heading to Camden to go to the Diner to celebrate Vi's birthday, which is the day after.
But hopefully, the weekend after will be even better. Travelling to Hitchin, to see my one of my fave local bands, Jump The Lights. I haven't seen them since June, which is a ridiculously long amount of time, as we were seeing them every other week at the beginning of the year.
(Also, my dad and my brother go away for a week, leaving me and my mum alone in the house XD)
Then, on that Monday, i get to see Young Guns, a band i have been wanting to see live again since the beginning of June, when i saw them supporting Aiden at the Camden Barfly.
I love my life right now XD

So take my life I'll hand it to you
And you can try on my clothes
But you can't fill these shoes
On a silver platter
Your wish came true
So your heart of gold turned platinum
You can take my life
But you can't take it with you
This time in 29 days, i shall be sat outside some random venue in Norwich, with one of my best friends, waiting to see one of the bands that mean a ridiculous amount to me.
Honestly, no one knows how excited i am for this!
The only downside is what i have been told about the part of Norwich we are going to be sat in lol.
